Former President Donald Trump frequently makes headlines with his remarks, and he has done so again with a recent statement that has put Barack Obama under scrutiny. During his speech at the West Point graduation ceremony on Saturday, Trump made significant claims regarding the relationship between the United States and Russia, as well as Obama's involvement.
He asserted that the U.S. had developed hypersonic missile technology, which he claimed was stolen by adversaries. Trump accused Obama of providing Russia with this advanced missile technology. Although his comments did not receive much attention during the ceremony, an official noted that they were indeed surprising.
Trump's Previous Accusations
Previously, Trump had stated, "Russia has stolen the designs; they got it from us." He later told a news channel that a malicious individual had provided them with the designs. In that same conversation, he expressed hope that the U.S. would soon possess super-hypersonic missiles that would be even more advanced.
Criticism of Transgender Policies
Trump's address at the West Point Military Academy also included criticisms of transgender individuals and discussions on military diversity, equality, and inclusion policies, alongside critiques of his predecessors. Since returning to power, Trump has consistently targeted his opponents.
A military major, who chose to remain anonymous, remarked that Trump's speech was certainly surprising, but when asked about the political content, he stated, "This was my first Commander-in-Chief speech," indicating there was nothing to compare it to. Additionally, Trump took aim at Biden during his address.
